Now that you have art created, the important thing to learn is how to sort it into DPS's file heirarchy. The second option you have here is to create a terrain block that has dimensions that are multiples of 200 (it doesn't have to be multiples of 200, but it's simpler if it is), and then DPS will just repeat the texture but it will look somewhat more varied since adjacent blocks aren't all identical. The important thing is is the connectable border I mentioned, and what I mean when I say that is any single tile should be able to be placed next to every side of another tile without looking ugly. The first is you can create multiple 200x200 tiles that all have a connectable border, and put them in the same folder, DPS will choose which one to use randomly creating good variation. Now, lets say you wanted to create terrain that was larger than 200x200 repeating so that it looked more varied (every square wasn't just a copy of the squares adjacent to it). ![]() ![]() If you create something 600 pixels wide and 200 pixels tall, it will be 3 blocks wide and 1 block tall in DPS. ![]() So the first step is creating the tiles (obviously), the important thing to remember here is every square in DPS is 200 pixels. When you say "uploading custom art" you mean creating your own collection in the workshop I presume?
